b o t h Launches Exclusive Footwear Collaboration with MONSE for F/W 2020

“b o t h” - a Parisian footwear label unveiled its newest genderless footwear collection in an exclusive collaboration with the New York based clothing brand Monse at New York fashion week.

The collaboration celebrated modern-day punk and featured 5 versions of b o t h’s signature style boot models inspired by Wes Anderson’s 2009 stop motion animation- Fantastic Mr. Fox. Like the movie, the boot collection adopted a stark colour palette that also stylistically aligned with that of Monse’s ready-to-wear collection. The boots also feature b o t h’s iconic rubber sole with Monse’s logo printed on the heel.

The creative duo behind Monse- Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim were quite successful in harmonizing their “Happy Punk” collection featuring asymmetrical hemlines, tartans and trenches with the aesthetic of their reimagined exclusive footwear collaboration; while staying true to their unique deconstructed tailoring and aesthetic.

Monse’s exclusive collaboration with b o t h will be available for sale at various retailers globally from August 2020 onward and we can’t wait to get our hands on one of these chic pairs of boots.
