Fashion Week is the pinnacle of extravagant luxury and Micheal Zoffranieri just took it one step further. Avoiding the mass viewings and crowded seats that come with featuring your collection on the runway, Michael held private viewings for his brand ZOFF in a Four Season’s hotel room in the heart of Yorkville. To take it up a notch and tickle my fancy in particular – he served VEGAN doughnuts and cookies with sparkling water in a champagne flute to wash it down.
Michael Zoffranieri, for those who don't know, is a Mississauga born and raised designer. Taking fashion at Ryerson, he created his label ZOFF in 2016 and has since received the Suzanne Rogers Award for Most Promising New Label of 2017 for TFI's New Labels competition and appeared in numerous publications around the world! He focuses on creating meaningful art and really showcasing the fearless self-loving woman.
So lets get into his newest collection – Inspired by his Nona’s immigration to Canada Michael’s vision for the ZOFF collection was to represent strength and softness. He featured two gowns from his collection (literally two beautiful models appeared out of thin air sporting the most stunning gowns I have ever seen) – Michael explained how the corset of the gown represented strength while the delicate lace symbolized the softness of his Nona.
All in all the experience was incredible and unique. Micheal Zoffranieri is genuine, engaging, and imaginative and it shows through his designs, and personal connection with his clients.
I highly recommend checking out his collection and following his Instagram page!
