However, that’s not why she is such a badass role model. What makes her so amazing is that her company filed for bankruptcy and she also went through a divorce, but that didn’t stop her from living her life to the fullest. Not only did she start a new business but is also in a new relationship. She created a media company called Girl Boss, that is dedicated to helping women become successful. Girls are taking over the world day by day and using her company as a platform to tips and tricks, and stories of successful women for all.
If you haven’t heard of Milk and Honey, where have you been??? Rupi Kaur is a New York Times bestselling author. She has published two books, both being collections of poems. She has a passion for art and expresses herself through drawing, painting and poetry. In her books she touches on many important topics like love, heartbreak, femininity, and trauma. Not only is Rupi a successful author and artist, but she is a reminder to all of us that is we focusing on what we are passionate about it’s possible to become successful.
Emily Weiss is the founder of Glossier, a beauty product brand that everyone is talking about. She started her blog "Into the Gloss" in 2010 while she was an assistant at Vogue. Her blog is about all things hair, makeup, and skincare. With her love of beauty, Weiss built a global audience and is now the CEO of a million dollar business. "Into the Gloss" now has contributors from all over the world. One of her goals with Glossier is to redefine beauty by creating a brand that is inclusive of all women.
