In Toronto, being vegan is like putting on pants in the morning - everyone does it (or most of us) and the numbers are growing.

Plant based foods are on the rise and it's a great thing for people like me who desperately try to convince myself to be healthy. From mock chicken to purely fresh bars, there is no shortage of amazing vegan restaurants in Toronto to try - even if you're not vegan.

Last week I scoured the Internet and the streets of Toronto to find the best. So, if you're looking to curb that savory and sweet tooth of yours, here are the 10 BEST vegan restaurants you NEED to try:

Fake Taco


Fake Taco's is here to show you that vegans deserve more than salads and quinoa bowls. This plant-based taco shops serves up the meanest vegan Taco in town, not to mention they offer DIY taco kits and deliver all over the GTA. Have I not convinced you yet? Who said you can't have dessert before dinner??? I sure didn't, and neither did Cosmic Treats.
