Since the brands inception in 2015, Claudia Li has consistently been evolving. Growing with the designer Li's vision, each year the collections take on new meaning, expressing personal development and inspiring change.
For Spring/Summer 2020 collection, Li stepped into a new chapter while still honouring past collection. Stepping into a new with creative fabrics, she incorporated new technical pieces, printed lamé and knit jacquard. Each new and exciting fabric was selected as it resonated with Li. Things like the wide-brimmed hiking hats for Li’s love of nature and utilitarian, oversized, removable pockets inspired by the brand’s factory workers.
Tying to the past, Claudia shared her personal story of evolution with the brand and creating a new identity. While introducing new elements as mentioned, she also incorporated key elements that paid homage to her brand core identity. Together, Claudia Li quotes "it’s a blend of practicality, independence, and love of self-expression that’s key to Claudia Li’s playful DNA."
